“Africa nu inseamna doar foamete si saracie”. Africanii au pornit o campanie care sa arate lumii cum este viata lor
Ca sa lupte cu prejudecatile conform carora toti copiii din Africa mor de foame, iar oamenii traiesc intr-o saracie lucie, africanii s-au hotarat sa porneasca o campanie pe Twitter.
“Este adevarat ca exista saracie extrema in Africa, dar la fel exista si pe orice alt continent. Problema este ca in lume exista o singura imagine a Africii, o singura poveste", spune Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, o scriitoare din Nigeria si speaker Ted Talks.
Ca sa arate ca identitatea Africii nu poate fi redusa la saracie si foamete, ea a inceput o campanie pe retelele de socializare ca sa arate diversitatea de pe continent.
De cand a fost creat, hashtagul #TheAfricaTheMediaNeverShowsYou (Africa pe care presa nu ti-o arata) a ajuns la peste 50.000 de utilizari.
